Rangitoto Island Walk

The sun rose behind Waiheke Island and one by one the crew surfaced. Kate and Fiona went for a paddle exploring the coastline around Station Bay. We raised the anchor and popped around the corner to Islington Bay.

Bird life kept us company along the way.

Lava caves / tunnels. Apparently, the volcano is dormant, not extinct…

That was further than I was expecting!
