Whale Highway

The blue skies and flat seas always bring the whales out to play and today was a stunning setting for some mammal play. We saw numerous whales in the distance and were fortunate to have a couple of pods pop up close by us on Silver Fern.

When they have their new calves in tow, they are extra playful, with the baby mimicking the adult whales around them.
